ALUMINIUM Digital Talk 2021
The transformation of the automotive industry, the circular economy and the prospects for aluminium are the focus of the first ALUMINIUM Digital Talk. On 18 May, the virtual event will bring together selected experts in a broadcasting studio - for live keynotes, round-table discussion and interviews. In two-hour sessions, the experts will venture a look into the future of the aluminium industry.

10 am - 12 pm (CET): The first session starts in the morning and is dedicated specifically to the current changes in the global automotive industry. Under the title "Autonomous, shared, electric? Transformation of the car sector and aluminium's perspectives", Hélène Wagnies (Ducker Research), Dr. Manuel Kallweit (German Association of the Automotive Industry) and Patrik Ragnarsson (European Aluminium) will be among the speakers.

3 - 5 pm (CET): On the topic of sustainability in the afternoon, Eoin Dinsmore (CRU Group), Dr. Carsten Gerhardt (Circular Valley), Leopold Werdich (Tubex) and Guido Aufdemkamp (European Aluminium Foil Association), among others, will discuss the future significance of aluminium and pursue the question: "Circular economy and aluminium: Best practice for the European green deal?"

Both lectures will be held in English language.
